The Robinson Maroons held off a furious fourth quarter rally Saturday night and ended the season for the Lawrenceville Basketball Indians 51-49 in a first round Class 2A regional game at Robinson. The hosts led through the first three quarters before the Tribe took a 2 point lead into the final period. But the youthful Indians made some key mistakes and turnovers down the stretch that cost them and the Maroons were able to escape with the narrow win. The Indians were led by three in double figures-Leyton Ivers with 16, senior Brenyn Winningham with 13 and Bryant Jenkins with 11. They finish the year at 9-15 with 2 losses in a row. Robinson at 14-14 will advance to the regional semifinals Wednesday against Fairfield.
