Both Lawrenceville (Co-op) Indian wrestlers at the Illinois Class 1A State Finals in Champaign lost their opening round matches Thursday. Brian Seed at 170 pounds lost for only the second time this year as he lost to Mike Gentile of St Laurence High School by fall in 4:41. Seed is now 33-2 and will continue in wrestlebacks Friday. Nathan Blackwell at 182 pounds lost his opening round match by an 8-0 major decision to Max Ryner of Macomb. He is now 31-12 and will also be in wrestlebacks Friday. The 1A finals wrap up at the State Farm Center Saturday.
