DRAPER NETS 40 IN WIN OVER LADY INDIANS

High scoring senior Katie Draper of Oblong-Palestine-Hutsonville scored 40 points Monday night to propel the Lady Tigers to a 55-35 win over the Lawrenceville Lady Indians at LHS. Draper scored a number of her points during an 18-0 run in the fourth quarter which broke open a four point game in favor of the visitors. The loss was the fifth in a row for the Lady Indians, who fall to 4-20 on the season. They were led in scoring by Gracie Stallings and Haley Bellville each with 10 points. The Lady Indian JV won over OPH 42-32 with Bri Yarber scoring 16 points and Mallory Lockhart 10. The Lady Indians are scheduled to get back into Little Illini Conference play Thursday night at Paris, weather permitting.
