Illinois State Police report that an area man has died after being involved in an early morning accident Thursday in rural Clay County. Around 12:15 a.m. a 2019 Ford Ranger being driven by 72 year old David Beccue of Louisville Illinois was headed west on the Sailor Springs Road east of Coral Drive. For an unknown reason, the vehicle veered off the left side of the road and overturned. Beccue was ejected and was fatally injured. An autopsy was scheduled to determine the exact cause of death. No other information was released as the investigation continues.
