The continuing surge of COVID-19 cases locally and statewide continues to cause concerns for those entities who do lots of face-to-face business and transactions such as public libraries. The Lawrence Public Library Board Tuesday night in regular monthly session heard from Library Director Diane Brumley about health and safety protocols in place at the facility at 814 12th Street in downtown Lawrenceville. Those who enter the library are asked to wear a mask, user times at the computer stations is limited to 2 at a time but there are no time limits for being in the library and people are asked to social distance as much as possible while inside. The library board did authoritize Brumley to take any course or courses of action in the future she deems neccessary for the protection of library patron and staff health and safety.
