In first round play Saturday at the Little Eastern Illini Conference Tournament in Oblong.. the Parkview 7th grade Braves lost to Newton (Jasper County) 37-32. The 8th grade Braves were 35-32 winners over Paris Mayo behind Jayden Goff with 12 points. The tournaments continue play this week.
