In a Lawrence County junior high boys basketball battle Wednesday night, the Parkview Braves won both games at home in Lawrenceville against the visiting Red Hill Junior High Salukis. The Braves won the 7th grade contest 29-19 and the 8th grade game 51-38. Hunter Gray had 12 points and Zander Cessna 10 to lead the Braves scoring in the 8th grade game. The duo of Clayton Potts with a game high 20 points and Ozzy Ash with 15 were solid for the Salukis, but it was not enough. Parkview was scheduled to host Olney Thursday but that game will not occur. So the Braves will enter into LEIC tournament play at Oblong starting Saturday. It will be a quick turnaround for the Jr High Salukis as they travel to Flora Thursday night.
