The Lawrence Unit #20 Board of Education met Tuesday evening at the Lawrenceville High School cafeteria and dealt with a number of items including personnel. They voted for revisions in the Parkview Junior High student handbook covering vaping. The resignation of Ladell Stewart as longtime guidance counselor at Lawrenceville High School was accepted and a replacement will be sought. The district is also posting the position of Parkview Junior High Principal for 2022 after the release of Amber Ochs. The position is currently being filled on an interim basis by Brittany Bolt, the Director of Curriculum. The annual tax levy which contained a small increase over the previous year was also approved.
