The Red Hill Unit 10 School District will look to fill a top vacancy on it’s staff in the future. The Board of Education met in a special session at the district office in Bridgeport late Wednesday afternoon. They entered into executive session and after 15 minutes emerged to accept the resignation of longtime Assistant Technology Director Tammy Parker effective December 31st. Parker had been with the school system for over 20 years and is leaving for a new position. Superintendent Jakie Walker said that Parker will be missed and the position she held will be posted in the future.
