GSH NEW MRI PURCHASE

The Good Samaritan Hospital Board of Governors met this week in Vincennes and approved the purchase of a new Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) for Radiology Services. The existing MRI is 11 years old and has performed beyond it’s expected useful life. The total cost to replace the system is $2.25 million That price includes renovation of the current MRI suite and mobile MRI rental during the renovation and installation. Three bids were received for the project with Siemens providing the best overall bid related to technical specifications and image quality.
