Two men were injured in a two vehicle accident Wednesday morning on Illinois Route 103 in Edwards County. Illinois State Police say that a 2004 Dodge being driven by 51 year old David Fritchley of West Salem was heading north and rammed the rear of a 2006 Jeep whose driver was 72 year old John Hockgeiger of Albion. The impact drove both vehicles off the roadway. Both men were transported to area hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Authorities investigating say that Fritchley was ticketed for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident and Driving While License Revoked.
