The Illinois Department of Public Health is reporting there are now 1,735,586 cases of coronavirus across the state with 26,007 deaths since the pandemic began. The Lawrence County Health Department reports notification of 13 county residents who tested positive for COVID-19 between Saturday November 6th and Friday November 12th. All those individuals are currently under isolation at their homes. There were no active cases reported and no hospitalizations. A total of 16,256,855 vaccinations have occured in Illinois since the vaccine rollout began. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention reports that 61% of the Illinois total population is now fully vaccinated and that 34.47% of the total Lawrence County population is now fully vaccinated.
