Madaline May Tucker, age 91 of Flat Rock, passed away at her home on Saturday, November 6, 2021. She was born February 21, 1930 in Lawrenceville to Everett and Minnie (Medlin) Wells. She married William E. “George” Tucker, and he preceded her in death.
She was a long-time member of the Free Methodist Church in Bridgeport and worked for Victor Dana for 40 years until she was 82 years old. She was a loving person and it showed through doing anything she could for other people.
Surviving relatives include: two daughters- Linda Burdette and husband David of Flat Rock and Diane Oliver and husband Jim of Rantoul: one sister- Kate Harmon of Olney: one brother- Sam Wells of South Carolina: one granddaughter- Kathy Donnelly and husband Bill of Rantoul: one grandson- David “DJ” Burdette and wife Lorie of Dallas, TX: and two great-grandsons- Wade and Austin Donnelly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Cunningham Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
