Indiana State Police say that a recent traffic stop led to a major methamphetamine arrest in Sullivan County. Monday night, a trooper stopped a pickup truck being driven by 70 Terry Frakes of Farmersburg Indiana for speeding on U.S. 41 at CR 1125 North. Criminal activity was detected and a canine unit was requested at the scene. The canine alerted police to contraband inside the truck and a subsequent vehicle search uncovered 2 pounds of methamphetamine, digital scales, U.S. currency and drug paraphenalia. Frakes was charged with Dealing in Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphenalia and was transported to the Sullivan County Indiana Jail and was being held pending bond.
