The Illinois Department of Public Health reported a total of 1,650,108 cases of coronavirus across the state with 25,224 deaths since the pandemic began. The Lawrence County Health Department says there were 15 positive cases between last Friday October 8th and Monday October 11th. 98 cases are active in the county and there is just 1 hospitalization. 8 new cases were reported in Knox County Indiana Sunday. The IDPH also reports 14,822,824 vaccinations administered across Illinois at sites since the vaccine rollout began. There were over 251,000 people that received shots since last Friday October 8th. Of Illinois total population, 69% have gotten at least one COVID-19 vaccine dose while 54% are now fully vaccinated.
