The Embarras River Basin Agency (ERBA) has announced that funds are available to assist income-eligible households in Lawrence and surrounding Illinois counties with their natural gas, propane, heating and electric bills. The program will begin Wednesday September 1st. Applications will be taken on a first come-first serve basis through May 31st of 2022. There are no priority groups this program year and all households in need in the area are encouraged to apply. Households must be at or below 200% of the federal poverty level to receive help from the LIHEAP.
