Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes has announced that Dr. William Thompson the 3rd has joined the medical facility. He was born and raised in the Monroe City area of Knox County and specializes in Sports Medicine and Family Practice. He went to Indiana University for his undergraduate degree and then later earned his doctorate from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. Both Thompson’s father and grandfather practiced medicine in Monroe City so returning to Knox County and Vincennes to set up a practice was always a goal. Thompson is working out of the GSH Center for Therapy and Sports Performance at 2020 Clearview Drive in Vincennes.
