Lawrenceville Police investigated a two vehicle accident earlier this week. The mishap occurred on Wednesday in the 1000 block of Cedar Street. A 2007 GMC Sierra Truck being driven by Linda Painter of Lawrenceville was headed east on Cedar when she fell asleep behind the wheel. The truck veered off the street and hit a parked and unattended 2005 Chevrolet owned by Colleen Cooper of Vincennes. Painter was not hurt in the collision. Both vehicles did suffer damages in the collision, but were able to be driven from the scene. Authorities reported no citations were issued.
