The Wabash County Sheriffs Department has arrested a wanted male suspect in the town of Allendale. 26 year old Randy Jacob Cruz of Fairfield was the subject of a Wabash County warrant for Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse in connection with a 2018 incident investigated by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. A tip led to his capture at a residence in Allendale. Cruz was being held on a $3000 cash bond at the Wabash County Jail along with a no bond warrant from the Illinois Department of Corrections.
