DODGERS HAMMER CUBS IN FINALE

Left fielder Zack McKinstry drove in 4 runs with a grand slam homer in a 6 run bottom of the second inning Sunday night to lead the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 7-1 win over the Chicago Cubs in the final game of their four game series at Dodger Stadium. Cody Bellinger drove in the other 3 as the hosts took the final three games after being no-hit Thursday. Javier Baez homered for the only Cub talley off Dodger starter and winner Clayton Kershaw. The Cubs are back in the Midwest Monday night to open a key NL Central series with the Milwaukee Brewers at American Family Field in Milwaukee. Kyle Hendricks (10-4) pitches for the Cubs and Freddy Peralta (7-2) will go for the division leading Brewers.
