The U.S. Department of Agriculture is reminding Lawrence County and other area agriculture producers who have not yet completed their crop acreage reports after planting to make an appointment with their county Farm Service Agency office before the reporting deadline. The reporting deadline in Illinois for corn and soybeans is Thursday July 15th. Acreage reporting dates do vary by individual crops and counties, so again farmers should contact their county FSA office for additional information.
