A Knox County Indiana man has been preliminarily charged with murder in the death of his wife late last week. The Sheriffs Department reports that Jasmine Lee Hatfield was discovered dead by authorities after they were summoned to a residence on North Scott Road in Oaktown Friday about 7 p.m. EDT. Her husband, Kevin was not at the location when authorities arrived on the scene. Initial investigation at the scene pointed to Kevin Hatfield as a suspect in the death. A search later located him in neighboring Sullivan County and he was arrested there. Hatfield has since been transfered to the Knox County Jail.
