The Lawrence County Sheriffs Department arrested two Sumner men over the weekend for (DUI) Alcohol. 22 year old Jacob Harms and 49 year old John Thacker were both charged with the offense and both were taken to the Lawrence County Jail and were later released with Notices to Appear in Court. Lawrenceville Police Saturday arrested 29 year old Laquan Dinkens of Lawrenceville on multiple charges of Criminal Trespass, Intimidation, Disorderly Conduct and Obstruction of Justice. He was booked into the Lawrence County Jail and was being held on $3000 bond. Lawrenceville Police Sunday arrested a Richland County man on multiple charges after a traffic accident. 60 year old Charles Robertson of Olney was charged with Failure to Reduce Speed, Improper Land Usage and Leaving the Scene of an Accident. No details regarding the accident were available in the arrest report. Robertson was released with a Notice to Appear in Court. Lawrenceville Police Sunday arrested 28 year old Preston Clark of Oaktown Indiana for Unlawful Use of Weapons. He was being held pending bond in the Lawrence County Jail.
