The National Weather Service has extended the Flood Warning for the Embarras River at Lawrenceville until Saturday. The river Thursday morning was at 32.8 feet, about 3 feet above flood and had crested. It is now expected to begin a slow fall and fall below flood Saturday afternoon. Some minor flooding is occuring in the Lawrenceville area.
