Illinois State Police say that a Wayne County teen was the victim of a fatal single vehicle crash caused by the snowstorm across the area Wednesday. Reports indicate that a 2010 Chevrolet being driven by 18 year old Janae Pollard of Rinard was traveling north on Interstate 57 near the Neoga exit during the storm. She lost control on the icy roadway and slid off into a guardrail headon. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigation is continuing.
