Betty Jo (Elswick) Stevenson 79 of Bridgeport, Illinois passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at home with her children at her side.
She was born on September 26, 1941 to Hattler and Murl (Iricks) Elswick in Pikesvile, Kentucky.
Betty married Joseph Paul Stevenson in 1957 in Wyandotte, Michigan and he preceded her in death. She was a Homemaker.
She is survived by her 3 loving children Mary Jo Swain, Suzanne Stevenson and Billy Ray Stevenson, 8 grandchildren Ryan Swain, Justin Swain, Trinity Swain, Jamie Fletcher, Jeramy Fletcher, Melissa Cuneo, Billy Jo Stevenson and J.P. Stevenson and 14 great-grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
There will be a Graveside Funeral Service for Betty on Wednesday, January 20, 2020 at the Sumner City Cemetery in Sumner, Illinois at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Eunice Glasser officiating.
