Reports out of neighboring Richland County indicate that two counts of murder have now been filed in connection with the deaths of two women hit by a truck late last month at an Olney bar. 60 year old Michael Mattox of Dundas was originally charged with Aggravated DUI after the pickup he was driving ran through an intersection and off the road striking 48 year old DeAnn Richardson and 69 year old Judy Jourdan both of Olney on December 26th as the two stood on the patio at the Dueces Wild Saloon. The new charges were brought against Mattox during a court appearance late last week. He faces anywhere from 20 to 60 years in prison on each murder count. Bond was also set at $1.5 million. Mattox is next scheduled for preliminary hearing on January 21st.
