Margaret Jeane 93 of Bridgeport went Home to the Lord on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at the Lawrence County Memorial Hospital.
She was born on May 13, 1927 at home in St. Francisville, Illinois, the daughter of Herman Hutchinson and Violet (Hershey) Hutchinson.
Jeane was married to Joseph Mayhall and he preceded her in death.
She was a dedicated and faithful member of the St. Francisville First United Methodist Church in St. Francisville, Illinois.
She was also a very loyal member of the General Federation Women’s Club of St. Francisville, the American Legion of St. Francisville, the VFW of Lawrenceville, the Moose Lodge of Lawrenceville and the United Methodist Village Auxilary.
Jeane was very content and truly loved living at the United Methodist Village North Campus the last few years of her life. She especially loved putting together jig saw puzzles and attending the Church Services.
She is survived by her 3 children Jenny Jones and husband Bill of Bridgeport, Illinois Alberta Bemis and husband Jim of Conway, Arkansas and David C. McFarland of Evansville, Indiana, 2 sisters Marty Johnson of Lawrenceville, Illinois and Helen Courter of Vincennes, Indiana, 5 Grandchildren Joe Jones, Bob Jones, Wayne Perry, David G. McFarland and Brandy Roach, 7 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great- Great-Granddaughter.
Jeane was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joseph D. Mayhall and 1 granddaughter Mary Jeane Jones.
There will be a Graveside Funeral Service for Jeane on Wednesday, January 6, 2020 at the Oak Lawn Cemetery in St. Francisville, Illinois at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Eunice Glasser officiating.
