Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indiana (TMMI) recently announced it had awarded $250,000 in grant money to Vincennes University. V.U. will put the money toward two STEM programs. Part of the grant will go to a new Women in STEM Leadership series that focuses on diversifying workforce development and supporting scholarships for female, minority and underrepresented students. The other part will go to the existing programmable logic controller laboratory for major upgrades and an expansion in student accessibility and improved instruction time.
