Christan Trudeen Jones, age 31 of Bridgeport, passed away at her home on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 after a long battle with cancer. She was born October 11, 1989 in Greencastle, IN to the late Dennis Rumley and Beverly (Cassida) Rumley Everheart.
On May 2, 2018, Christan married Timothy Jones at Red Hill State Park.
Christan was a CNA at Lawrence Community Healthcare Center and United Methodist Village-Main Campus. She made friends everywhere she went. Christin loved kids! Her house was full of her kids, friends’ kids, and neighborhood kids…all were welcome.
Surviving family includes: her husband- Timothy Jones of Bridgeport: her mother- Beverly Everheart of Sullivan, IN: four sons- Casey, Kenneth, Gabriel, and Immanuel Jones all of Bridgeport: two brothers- Bryon Rumley of Vincennes, IN and Ethan Everheart stationed in California with the United States Navy: one sister- Denelle Rumley of Petrolia: one nephew that she loved as her own- Andrew Rumley: two nieces- Raleigh Rumley and Charlotte Everheart.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis Rumley.
A funeral service will be held for Christan on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at the Cunningham Funeral Home in Bridgeport. A visitation will take place from 5:00 p.m. until service time at 7:00 p.m. Cremation will follow services.
