Preliminary fall enrollment data shows that fewer students are enrolling in community colleges across Illinois in the latest enrollment report compiled by the Illinois Community College Board. The 2020 Fall Enrollment Report shows that total enrollment for fall throughout the ICC system is down 13.7% compared to 2019. Three community colleges did show enrollment increases for the fall semester. The preliminary data also shows that enrollment of students age 30 and older has decreased at twice the rate of students younger than age 40. Graduation rates for full-time, first-time students have increased 36% since 2009 with the overall student graduation rate also on the rise since 2001.
