Lauren Anne Smallwood, age 22, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on Monday, September 07, 2020 at her residence. She was born on August 20, 1998 in Olney, Illinois, the daughter of Kevin and Charity (Stanker) Smallwood.
Lauren was a CNA at Aperion Care in Bridgeport. She enjoyed thrift store shopping, riding motorcycles, and being with family and friends.
Preceding her in death was her paternal grandfather, Mickey Smallwood and maternal grandmother, Patty Stanker.
Survivors include her parents, Kevin and Charity Smallwood; fiancé, Mason Deisher; one son, Aiden Deisher; two sisters, Marisa Smallwood and Emily Smallwood; paternal grandmother, Sandy Smallwood; maternal grandfather, Charles Stanker all of Lawrenceville, Illinois; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at 1:00 PM at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois, which may be viewed with the following link: https://www.facebook.com/Emmons-Macey-Steffey-Funeral-Home-Burial-Cremation-Services-241234759332208/. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the May Chapel Cemetery.
Memorial donations in Lauren’s memory may be made to Kevin Smallwood, Mason Deisher, or Nichelle Burkhardt either through the funeral home or People’s State Bank.
