The Effingham-Teutopolis Christmas Basketball Classic has been cancelled for 2020. The Tournament Committee released a statement this week indicating the cancellation was due to COVID-19 and restrictions by the State and the IHSA on travel to games. The statement also said the committee wanted to make the announcement as soon as possible to allow participating teams time to reschedule. The Lawrenceville Indians have been in the field for the Classic the past two years.
