The Parkview Lady Softball Braves opened the season Saturday with a doubleheader split with visiting Flora at Phil Alsman Field. The visitors won the first game 4-2 and the Lady Braves the second 6-3. In the first game Addy Sanders had 2 hits and Addy Brush took the pitching loss. In the second contest the Lady Braves scored their 6 runs on 11 hits with Katie Cook having 3 of those hits and Abby Taylor picked up the pitching win with a complete game. The 1-1 Lady Braves travel to Casey Tuesday.
