The Illinois Eastern Community College Adult Education Program based out of Frontier Community College in Fairfield has recieved a $327,000 grant allocation from the Illinois Community College Board. The amount is a $25,000 increase in funding over last year. The funds are designated for Adult Literacy and Education programs within the district and will help assist adults to achieve their high school equivalency and become college and career ready.
