The Lawrence County Sheriffs Department early Tuesday arrested an out of county man on multiple charges. Taken into custody was 31 year old Tyler Devaney of Charleston Illinois. He has been preliminarily charged with Threatening a Public Official, Aggravated Battery of a Police Officer and Aggravated Battery of a Doctor. No other details surrounding the arrest were given in the report. Devaney was being held in the Lawrence County Jail pending setting of bond by a judge. The sheriffs department Monday arrested 31 year old Ian Nash of Lawrenceville for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. He was taken to the Lawrence County Jail and later released on $1000 bond.
