The Illinois Department of Public Health has announced that there were 1,527 new cases of the coronavirus across the state Thursday with 104 more deaths. Those numbers bring the statewide total of cases of the disease to 115,833 since the pandemic began with 5,186 deaths in 100 of the 102 Illinois counties. Lawrence County remained stationary Thursday at 4 confirmed cases with all having recovered. Other surrounding counties also remained stationary Thursday-Crawford at 11 cases, Richland at 3 and Wabash at 2.
