Regional Office of Education #12 Superintendent Monte Newlin has announced that the state of Illinois has been granted a waiver request by the U.S. Department of Education. The waiver covers all required testing for the 2019-20 school year. Students in Lawrence County and across the region and state have been learning from home via e-learning on computers as a result of the pandemic. Schools in Illinois will remain closed by order of the Governor through April 7th.
