The Lawrenceville Lady Basketball Indians handed out some post season awards at their recent season ending banquet. Selected as the Mental Attitude Award winner was Alexia Petty, Katelyn Higginbotham was chosen as the Defensive Player of the Year and winner of the annual Kevin Seitzinger Memorial Award. Chaylee Shick was named Most Improved and Jayley Akers was picked as the Offensive Player of the Year. Aubrey Bedwell was named as the Top Rebounder and Top Free Throw Award winner. Higginbotham, Shick, and Akers were also Little Illini All Conference selections and Akers was selected as an Associated Press Class 2A Honorable Mention (All-State).
