The Lawrence County Board Finance Committee has tabled discussions regarding the proposal made by Deaconess Illinois to acquire the Lawrence County Ambulance Service. The committee met with the ambulance service board Thursday afternoon at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital. Committee chairman Dave White told WAKO after the session that Deaconess Illinois representatives were not able to be on hand for the meeting and the issue was tabled till a later date to allow for all involved to be in attendance.
