A Lawrence County man has been sentenced to prison in neighboring Crawford County. States Attorney Matthew Hartrich’s office reports that 34 year old Chance Queen of Lawrenceville was given two and one half years in the Illinois Department of Corrections. He was charged with Class 3 Illinois Felony Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. In addition to the prison term, Queen will also be on a year of mandatory supervised release after finishing his incarceration.
