Lawrence County States Attorney Michael Strange has announced that a Lawrence County man was sentenced to prison on a drug charge in Lawrence County Circuit Court this week. On Wednesday 39 year old Allen Brinkman of Lawrenceville pled guilty to a charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, a Class 3 Illinois felony. He was given 30 months in the Illinois Department of Corrections to be followed by 1 year of mandatory supervised release.
