Caitlyn Bowersock of the Red Hill Lady Basketball Salukis is in Normal Saturday to compete for the “Queen of the Hill” three point shooting title. Bowersock won the Class 2A title last week and will compete at 12:30 p.m. with the 1A, 2A, and 3A three point champions for the top spot at Redbird Arena. Meanwhile, both Cale Powell and Jarrett Winkles of the Lawrenceville Indians failed to advance in the three point shooting competition Friday at the Vandalia 2A sectional. Chance Black of the Robinson Maroons did advance on Friday.
