The Indiana Department of Transportation will host a public hearing on planned work to the U-S 41 bridge over the White River Tuesday evening at the INDOT office on U-S 41 just south of Vincennes starting at 5:30 eastern. The bridge design plans will be outlined at tomorrow’s session including the removal and replacement of the bridge deck, and repairs to existing beams and catch block systems. One lane of traffic will be open each direction while the work is going on. Work will alternate between the northbound and southbound U-S 41 bridges. All traffic will be shifted to the other structure while the work is taking place.
