Sydni Williams rebound basket of Jayley Akers three point miss with four seconds left in the game gave the Lawrenceville Lady Basketball Indians a thrilling 45-43 win Thursday night over Newton at LHS. The win ended a tight game between the two which see-sawed back and forth. Akers led the Lady Indians with a double-double of 21 points and 14 rebounds. Newton did win the JV game 31-27. With the victory, the Lady Indians improve to 9-9 on the season. They are back in action Saturday when they travel to Fairfield.
