Lawrence County State’s Attorney Michael Strange announced that a Bridgeport man was sentenced in Lawrence County Circuit Court this week. 33 year-old Adam R. Fox of Bridgeport was sentenced to five years in the Illinois Department of Corrections on a charge of unlawful possession of methamphetamine. That will be followed by two years of mandatory supervised release. Fox is also required to pay a $1,000 drug assessment as well as court costs.
