The Lawrence County Board met in regular session Wednesday afternoon. The County Board heard from State’s Attorney Michael Strange and then voted 4-3 to approve a resolution by the county to protect citizens’ Second Amendment rights regarding potential gun control legislation through the State of Illinois. The board also approved two engineering agreements with HLR for bridge replacements at Raccoon Creek and southwest of Russellville.
