Linda Louise (Seitzinger) Richards, age 77 of Bridgeport and formerly of Lawrenceville, passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Aperion Care- Bridgeport. She was born in Lawrence County on August 6, 1940 to Leonard Seitzinger and his wife Delta (Johnson) Seitzinger.
Linda worked for and retired from Addus Healthcare out of Mt. Carmel after more than 20 years of service as a home health aide. She loved to cook and was very good at it. If you came to visit her, she would feed you!
Surviving family includes: four children- Tammy Hill of Lawrenceville, Larry Richards and wife Julie of Dahlgren, Julie Richards of Lawrenceville, and Kristi Richards of Lawrenceville: eight grandchildren- Brooke Gher, Tiffany Spore, Clinton J. Richards, India Winship, Ian Winship, Izabella M. Winship, Jason Richards, and Megan Richards: nine great-grandchildren- Jude DeCausey, Hallie Gher, Rylee Hunsaker, Blayke Harvey, Lincoln Fausnacht, Jayda Winship, Kaitlynn Grace Winship, and Lorilei N. Winship: two brothers- Jerry Seitzinger and wife Linda of Lawrenceville and Morris “Mope” Seitzinger and wife Barbara of Vincennes, IN: and one sister-Sharon “Sue” Luking and husband John of Vincennes, IN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister (Deborah Martinez), and a great-granddaughter (Rowan Harvey).
A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 5, 2018 at the Cunningham-Young Funeral Home in Lawrenceville. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until service time at 7:00 p.m. Cremation will follow.
