While the state of Indian is celebrating its 200 birthday this year..the Knox County Chamber of Commerce has hit its own milestone. The Chamber turns 100 in 2016.
The anniversary will be marked at the Chamber’s annual Dinner on April 14th. The special speaker at the event will be Jonathan Crossland of Vincennes. He graduated from Lincoln in 1981 and became a sous chef at several major and world class restaurants throughout the US.
Again the annual dinner is April 14th and it’ll be at Green Activities Center on the VU campus. Tables and sponsorships are available and reservations are due April 8th. At the annual meeting the awards for Business of the Year, Small Business of the Year and Women in Business Awards will be handed out. Nominations for each are being sought.
