Vincennes police were busy with several Thursday investigations

Numerous people jailed in separate cases involving shoplifting, warrants and drugs

 

-A Pike County woman was arrested at the Vincennes Wal Mart at 5:50 last evening. Vincennes police were called there to investigate a shoplifting report.  36-year-old Tara J. Hollet of Petersburg was taken into custody or theft and possession of a legend drug.  She was taken to the Knox County Jail.

-Three people were arrested at Kohl’s on Bierhaus Boulevard in Vincennes yesterday evening.  After investigating an alleged shoplifting incident, police apprehended Britteny Hout of Evansville, Jasmine Cannon of Valparaiso and Kateylynn Washam of Connersville.  All three 19-year-olds were charged with theft and were booked into the Knox County Jail.

-Vincennes police conducted a drug investigation picked up 24-year-old Nicholas Anthis of Vincennes on a Lawrence County, Illinois arrest warrant on Thursday.  Anthis was wanted for a violation of bond.  He was located at 9th and Hart at 4:30-pm.

-Also at 9th and Hart at 5-pm, Vincennes Police report arresting 22-year-old Megan F. Neumann of Vincennes.  She faces charges of possession of syringes,  and paraphernalia.

-At 15th and Hart at just after 6-pm, Vincennes police served as arrest warrant on 35-year-old Dylan M. Thompson.  He was wanted for manufacturing meth and possession of meth, precursors and marijuana.

-At 11 last night, Vincennes police conducted a drug investigation in the 1600 block of Ritterskamp.  Arrested was Justin A. Duncan charged with maintaining a common nuisance, possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.  Also taken into custody on scene was Dylan R. Jones charged with possession of a schedule 2 narcotic drug and on warrants for failure to appear on theft and driving while suspended charges.

-Vincennes Police made traffic stop at US 41 and Hart at 12:30-am today.  26-year-old Carl J. Porter of Vincennes was jailed for driving while suspended.
